Concrete Formwork Carpenter

About this role

Long-term concrete formwork carpenter opening on a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville / Carrollton, GA. This role runs through mid-2028 and is built for experienced form carpenters who can work safely on an active heavy-industrial site. We're looking for hands-on carpenters with strong foundation and anchor-bolt experience who can set forms, read structural drawings, and work with multiple form system types. Non-local candidates who can travel or relocate are encouraged-per diem is available. Currently employed candidates are welcome to apply.

What you'll do

• Build, set and strip concrete forms for foundations, footings and slabs on a large industrial site
• Set anchor bolts and embeds to required lines, levels and tolerances
• Install and adjust a variety of form systems (gang/handset and engineered form systems)
• Read and interpret structural drawings, layout points, and verify elevations and dimensions
• Work with crane crews and other trades to place forms and coordinate pours safely
• Perform routine formwork inspection and basic corrective layout/measuring to maintain quality

What we're looking for

• Proven concrete formwork experience on commercial, industrial or power projects
• Hands-on experience with foundations, footings and anchor bolt installation
• Comfortable using gang and handset form systems and engineered form components
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and transfer elevations to layout
• Comfort working on an active, large-scale industrial jobsite with multiple trades
• Willingness to travel/relocate for the duration of the project; currently employed candidates welcome

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass site background check and drug screening
• OSHA 10 (preferred) or equivalent basic safety training
• Crane signaling or rigging experience a plus
• English required; Spanish or other language skills helpful
