Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join a specialized breast imaging team in Rochester, NY. The selected candidate will perform MRI examinations for high-risk and newly diagnosed patients, ensuring patient safety, image quality, and exceptional patient care.

Breast MRI experience is preferred but not required. Training is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breast MRI examinations and assist with MRI-guided biopsies.
• Review patient medical histories and MRI safety screening forms.
• Position patients, establish IV access, and prepare them for imaging procedures.
• Perform up to 20 patient scans daily.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EHR/PACS systems.
• Verify MRI compatibility of implanted medical devices.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and respond appropriately to patient emergencies.

Requirements

• Current applicable New York State professional license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Breast MRI experience preferred, but training is available.
• Injection certification preferred, with training available.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency; EHR/PACS experience preferred.
