PRN | Day Shift | Outpatient Specialty Clinic

Join Mercy's Spine & Pain Management team and help deliver specialized, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This PRN opportunity is ideal for nurses seeking flexibility while maintaining their clinical skills in a procedural environment. Why Consider This Opportunity?

• Support spine and pain management procedures
• Work alongside experienced physicians and specialty nursing staff
• Opportunity to expand procedural and ambulatory nursing experience
• Flexible PRN scheduling with the ability to pick up additional shifts as available

PRN Requirements

• Minimum commitment of 36 hours per 6-week scheduling period
• One weekend shift (12 hours) per scheduling period
• One summer holiday shift and one winter holiday shift annually
• Additional shifts may be available based on department needs

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients, including pain evaluations, vital signs, and medical histories
• Assist providers with spine and pain management procedures and treatments
• Administer medications, injections, and support IV therapy as needed
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Coordinate care, including follow-up appointments, referrals, and patient education
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Support a safe, efficient clinic environment and assist with testing and procedures as needed
