Construction Laborer

Location: Piqua, OH

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hour

Overtime: Varies based on workload and project demands## Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking dependable and hardworking General Construction Laborers/Installers to assist with a variety of commercial and residential construction projects. This role includes glass installation, fence installation, material handling, and general construction duties while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.## Key Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial glass installation, repair, and replacement projects
• Install fencing and related materials according to project specifications
• Measure, prepare, and install construction materials with accuracy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely
• Load, unload, transport, and handle materials at job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment while assisting with general construction tasks

• Strong work history with a dependable and hardworking attitude
• Previous construction, installation, fencing, glazing, or related trades experience preferred
• Ability to accurately measure and work with precision
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Experience with commercial construction projects
• Experience with fence installation, caulking, sealing, or material fabrication
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience operating construction tools and equipment

• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials throughout the workday
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights when required
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays as needed
