Is this you?

• Do you enjoy untangling hydraulic and electrical issues on articulating cranes and lift trucks?
• Are you comfortable switching between scheduled PMs, Annual DOT inspections, and urgent repairs?
• Can you document estimates, authorizations, parts, labor, and inventory with accuracy?
• Are you safety-driven and meticulous about a clean, orderly workspace?

What you’ll tackle

• Troubleshoot and repair: articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, bucket trucks, platforms, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
• Complete preventive maintenance per customer calendars, conduct Annual DOT inspections, and perform warranty service.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled diagnostics and repairs during working and non-working hours.
• Communicate clearly with the shop manager on findings and next steps.
• Produce timely service documentation: estimates, work order authorization, parts ordering/recording, labor capture, and inventory updates.
• Comply with all state and federal safety regulations; keep the shop safe, clean, and organized.

What you’ll need

• HS diploma or GED and 3+ years’ mechanical experience or training (focus on articulating cranes/forklifts preferred).
• Strong proficiency across mechanical, hydraulics, electrical systems, troubleshooting/diagnostics, and welding.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based applications for documentation and research.
• Independent, resourceful work style and excellent initiative.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 75 lbs+ for extended periods.
• Exposure tolerance: inside/outside conditions, noise, vibration, oils, and common shop hazards.
• Bring your own hand tools (Palfinger proprietary tools supplied).
