Position: Day Hab Nurse -LPN Relief
Organization: The Arc of Opportunity
Location: Fitchburg, MA
Working Hours: - Flexible
Salary Range-$32.90-$35.90 per an hour
We are seeking a Relief LPN for Day Habilitation Services to provide per diem coverage as needed. This role supports the health, safety, and nursing needs of individuals attending day habilitation programs and mirrors the responsibilities outlined in our existing Day Habilitation RN/LPN position. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and experienced in providing person-centered nursing support in a community-based setting. Opportunities are available to assist with scheduled coverage, call-outs, and special staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care and oversight to individuals attending our Day Habilitation
Program.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and ensure the health
and safety of participants.
• Monitor and assess the health status of individuals and communicate any changes or
concerns to appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with MassHealth
regulations.
Qualifications:
• Current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in Day Habilitation, developmental disabilities, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with MassHealth regulations is a plus.
