Pay: $33–$35/hour
Schedule: 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, and Saturdays

At First Day Homecare, we believe the best nursing care goes beyond the bedside. We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable RN or LPN with cardiac nursing experience who wants to grow alongside a family and make a lasting difference in a pediatric patient’s life.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the patient’s home.
  
  
• Monitor the patient’s condition and provide cardiac-related care as ordered.
  
  
• Provide oxygen therapy and NG-tube care according to the plan of care.
  
  
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  
  
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with the family and clinical team.
  
  
• Build a trusting relationship with the family and celebrate the patient’s progress and milestones.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN or LPN license.
  
  
• Cardiac nursing experience required.
  
  
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
  
  
• Pediatric NG-tube care experience preferred.
  
  
• Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and a compassionate, family-centered approach.
