Preventative Maintenance Technician - Now Hiring

POSITION SUMMARY:  

An Andersen Windows and Doors Field Service Technician travels to customer homes to diagnose, repair, and resolve warranty or performance issues on installed windows and doors. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Repairs & Service: Dismantle, adjust, and fix previously installed windows, doors, sashes, hardware, screens, locks, and trim.
• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot product performance concerns, air leaks, and water infiltration to find root causes.
• Customer Care: Communicate professionally with homeowners, set clear expectations, and resolve difficult onsite situations.
• Documentation: Complete electronic service reports, job assessments, and expense tracking using mobile apps or company systems.
• Travel: Drive to various customer locations and job sites.
• Order parts or products, as needed, to repair and resolve the issue. 
•      Check stock availability.
•      Enter details of the order on BGS’ computer system.
• Log any customer problems or complaints on the record so that there is a complete picture of the customers’ interactions      with BGS.

Compensation details: 18-28 Hourly Wage
