Structural WelderJob Description

We are seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our dynamic team. You will work on diverse projects primarily supporting the Energy industry and have the opportunity to utilize customer drawings and specifications in a job shop environment. This role is open to entry-level candidates, particularly graduates from Tulsa Welding School, who are eager to gain hands-on experience and grow their careers in welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on various structural components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.
• Complete 1F, 2F, and 4F plate tests using MIG welding techniques.
• Collaborate with team members in a primarily Spanish-speaking department.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all company safety standards and procedures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding and Flux Core welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Successful completion of 1F, 2F, and 4F plate tests.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized welding program, such as Tulsa Welding School.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred but not required.
• Prior structural welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sapulpa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
