Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care | Home Care
Make a Difference After Hours—Without Spending Nights at a FacilityLooking for a nursing opportunity that offers independence, flexibility, and meaningful work?
At Mountain Valley Hospice, our after-hours nurses provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients and families when they need it most. Unlike traditional night shift positions, our after-hours RNs are primarily on-call from home, responding to patient needs and making visits when necessary.
You'll have the independence to work from home between patient care needs while remaining available to provide hands-on nursing care throughout your assigned service area.
Available SchedulesWe have several after-hours nursing opportunities:
Monday–Thursday: 5 PM–8 AM
Friday–Sunday: 4 PM–8 AM
Rotating Nights: 5 PM–8 AM, with every other weekend scheduled
Home-Based On-Call: Spend time at home between patient care needs instead of reporting to a facility for your entire shift.
Independence & Autonomy: Use your nursing experience and clinical judgment to assess patient needs and provide compassionate care.
Meaningful Patient Connections: Help patients remain comfortable at home while providing reassurance and support to their families.
Schedule Options: Choose from weekday, weekend, or rotating night schedules.
Purpose-Driven Nursing: Be there when your skills, compassion, and presence can make all the difference.
