Job Description

Family Time Vacation Rentals is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our laundry operations team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our vacation rental properties are supplied with clean, quality linens while helping us reduce waste through proper stain treatment and linen recovery.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can manage their time efficiently, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced laundry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize towels, sheets, and other vacation rental linens.

• Identify stained linens and perform appropriate pretreatment and reclaim procedures.

• Operate commercial laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.

• Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and overall quality.

• Separate linens that require additional treatment or replacement.

• Maintain organized linen inventory and prepare clean linens for housekeeping teams.

• Track reclaimed and discarded linens as directed.

• Keep laundry equipment, workstations, and the facility clean and organized.

• Prioritize daily production to ensure linens are ready for upcoming guest arrivals.

• Communicate inventory shortages, equipment concerns, and other issues to management.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.

• Experience with stain removal or commercial laundry equipment is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.

• Dependable attendance and good time management.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Willingness to learn proper linen reclaim and quality control procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

This position is expected to work approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additional hours may occasionally be available based on seasonal demand.
