Role Overview

Texas Precision Plating is seeking a Line Operator to process parts through anodizing, chemical film, passivation, and related finishing lines for aerospace, defense, commercial, and industrial components. This role follows travelers and process specifications exactly to ensure every part meets customer and AS9100 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Rack, load, and unload parts on finishing lines per traveler and racking instructions.
• Operate tanks to posted times, temperatures, and current settings; record process data on the traveler.
• Handle parts carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or mix-ups.
• Perform masking and de-masking as required by the traveler.
• Perform in-process visual checks and stop/escalate any abnormal condition.
• Maintain part identification and traceability from receipt through pack-out.
• Follow chemical safety, PPE, and housekeeping requirements at all times.
• Support tank additions, cleaning, and line maintenance as directed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in plating, anodizing, metal finishing, or another production environment (preferred).
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, travelers, and basic specifications.
• Basic math skills and accurate recordkeeping.
• Comfortable working around industrial chemicals with proper PPE.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs with assistance or equipment as appropriate; work in a wet chemical-process environment with PPE; perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
