Lifetime Activities is looking for a part-time customer service representative for it's location at the state of the art Goldman Tennis Center located at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. Description:

The ideal candidate possesses the ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience for the San Francisco tennis community by assisting with court reservations, racquet stringing, offering equipment recommendations, basic class placement advice to a diverse clientele. Must be able to anticipate the needs of knowledgeable patrons as well as new customers seeking advice and guidance. The ideal candidate is a friendly, customer focused individual who enjoys helping others and working in a positive team environment.

Duties include:

• Conduct point of sale transactions
• Help customers make court reservations and register for classes 
• Answer phones and provide information on programs and services
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• String racquets (training provided)
• General cleaning/disinfecting of the pro-shop, courts, and restrooms
• Must have reliable transportation

NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a health screening, following a conditional offer of employment.

• Strong customer service / communication skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and skills
• Detail oriented and great work ethic
• Friendly attitude and a desire to help people
• Eager to learn
• Knowledge of the following is a plus:
  • Tennis and pickleball playing communities
  • Racquet technology and stringing (training available)
  • Point of sale and retail experience

Additional Skills:

Computer (Mac OS, Office Suite, Internet, E-mail, CourtReserve - training available)

Pay Range:

$25-$33/hr

Schedule:

Part time position, on average 20hrs/wk

Weekday & weekend shifts

**Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally.

Facility Hours of Operation:

7AM- 10PM daily
