United Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a high-paying travel nursing opportunity in Herrin, Illinois.

This position offers a consistent day-shift schedule and the opportunity to care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and specialized nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
• Perform comprehensive assessments and closely monitor patient conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other clinical indicators
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Recent PCU, Step-Down, or Progressive Care nursing experience
• Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
• Ability to care for patients requiring intermediate-level nursing interventions
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Must be available for day shifts

Compensation: $2,833 gross/week based on 36 hours
