Contract Director of Nursing (DON) – 8- to 12-Week Assignment

Falls City Care Center is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department during an 8- to 12-week contract assignment.
Wage:
$60/hour
We’re looking for someone who's been in the DON chair before and knows what it takes to keep a skilled nursing facility running smoothly. You'll work with our administrator and nursing staff to oversee resident care, support the nursing team and keep daily operations on track.
This isn’t a position where you'll have months to learn the ropes. We need someone who can step in, assess what's needed and get to work.
What we’re looking for:
- Current RN license
- Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility required
- Strong knowledge of nursing operations, regulatory compliance and resident care standards
- Confidence in leading staff, making decisions and handling the day-to-day challenges of a nursing department
- Previous travel or contract DON experience is a definite plus
