Job Overview

A1 Express Airport Parking is a premier, 24/7 round-the-clock airport parking facility serving travelers out of Tampa International Airport (TPA). We are seeking a highly reliable and motivated Front Desk Agent / Dispatcher to fill our consistent, 4-day evening block (Sunday–Wednesday, 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM).

In this vital hybrid role, you will be the core communication hub of our evening operation. You will handle everything from welcoming customers face-to-face and processing transactions on our computer system, to directing our shuttle drivers via radio dispatch to ensure fast, efficient airport pickups.

Key Responsibilities

• POS Front Desk Operations: Efficiently check customers in and out of the facility using our Point-of-Sale (POS) computer system. Verify reservations, process credit card/cash payments, and safely handle vehicle keys.
• Shuttle Dispatching: Function as the central dispatch hub. Track airport arrival flows and direct courtesy shuttle buses via radio communication to ensure prompt passenger pickups and drop-offs at TPA curbside.
• Inbound Customer Service Support: Answer incoming phone calls from traveling guests. Provide clear information regarding parking rates, directions, and facility policies, and seamlessly log live passenger requests for airport terminal pickups.
• Evening Shift Accountability: Maintain a smooth workflow during high-volume afternoon and late-night airport travel banks. Keep the lobby tidy and securely track vehicle lot logs before handover.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1+ years of experience working with a POS computer system or digital reservation software in a retail, hospitality, or valet environment is required. Prior dispatching or multi-line phone experience is highly preferred.
• Schedule Availability: Must be fully available to work the entire Sunday through Wednesday schedule from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
• Multitasking Master: Ability to maintain a calm, professional phone manner while simultaneously managing a POS checkout line and dispatching drivers.
• Communication: Clear verbal articulation on the telephone and over two-way radio channels.
• Location: Reliable transportation to our facility near Tampa International Airport. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a helpful plus for our local Tampa clientele.
