About this job
Job Description
About the Position
This is a part-time W-2 position with a highly flexible schedule and ongoing clinical support.
Associates create their own availability and may provide in-person, hybrid, and telehealth services based on clinician availability and client needs.
We provide referrals and work with new clinicians to gradually build their caseload. Once established, clinicians are encouraged to maintain a consistent clinical schedule, with additional opportunities available for associates interested in developing a larger caseload.
Associates will receive supervision and support consistent with applicable California licensure requirements and practice policies.
Compensation
Clinical sessions are compensated at $32–$40 per clinical hour, depending on experience, qualifications, clinical responsibilities, and other relevant factors.
Compensation may be reviewed over time based on experience, performance, caseload development, and practice needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Current California AMFT registration in good standing
- Active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Ability and desire to develop and maintain a consistent clinical caseload
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and reliability
- Timely completion of clinical documentation and practice requirements
- Comfort working with a diverse client population
- Willingness to participate in required supervision, training, and practice meetings
- Interest in being part of a collaborative, therapist-owned practice
- Commitment to completing required hours and documentation toward independent licensure
Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families is especially valued, as is availability to provide some in-person services.
We make every effort to match therapists with clients based on their clinical experience, specialties, interests, preferred populations, and availability.
What We Offer
- $32–$40 per clinical hour
- W-2 employment
- Flexible scheduling—you create your own availability
- Established referral sources
- Support building and maintaining your caseload
- Clinical supervision and consultation
- Administrative and billing support
- Assistance with documentation and practice requirements
- Professional development opportunities
- Supportive and accessible practice owners who are also practicing clinicians
- In-person, hybrid, and telehealth opportunities
- Professional office environment for in-person services
- No expectation that therapists market themselves, manage insurance billing, or handle collections
Outside Work and Other Commitments
We understand that associates may have other professional commitments, internship-related obligations, or outside work. Outside work does not automatically exclude you from consideration, provided there are no conflicts of interest and you are able to meet the clinical, supervision, documentation, and scheduling requirements of this position.
Who Will Thrive Here
This position may be a particularly good fit for an associate therapist who wants to gain clinical experience, complete hours toward independent licensure, and provide meaningful care without having to spend their time building a business, finding referrals, dealing with insurance companies, billing clients, or managing the administrative responsibilities of private practice. You bring your clinical training and commitment to client care. We provide the clients, supervision, and infrastructure to support your development.
If you are looking for a flexible, established practice where you can build a meaningful caseload, receive strong clinical support, and continue growing as a therapist, we would love to hear from you.
Please note: This position is for California-registered AMFTs and ACSWs who are eligible to provide services under appropriate supervision.
