Lead or Assistant Childcare Teacher

We are seeking a Lead or Assistant Childcare Teacher to support and guide infants, toddlers, preschool children, and mixed-age groups in a collaborative, play-based learning environment. Depending on the classroom structure, the teacher may support a lead teacher, participate in a co-teaching model, or rotate classroom responsibilities. This role offers paid training, workshops, and tuition support for professional credentials.

This is a FLOATER position to start, with guaranteed minimum30 flexible hours/week transitioning into a full time position as becomes available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based lessons for assigned age groups.
• Supervise children and maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.
• Organize classroom materials, activities, and learning spaces.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and childcare team members.
• Support co-teaching and rotating classroom responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Child Development Associate credential or coursework in early childhood education.
• Early Childhood Education background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Patience when working with young children.
