Pharmacist

Scope of Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, manage staff training and development, and deliver high‐quality patient care.

Key Duties

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients following professional standards
• Perform quality assurance checks and report incidents promptly
• Manage third‐party claims, inventory, and supplier orders
• Maintain accurate prescription files and records
• Ensure pharmacy technology is fully utilized
• Deliver outstanding customer service and enforce loss prevention policies
• Implement marketing and promotional programs
• Maintain a clean, professional environment and foster relationships with healthcare providers
• Stay current with pharmacy and healthcare developments
• Train and develop pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with mandatory programs
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Valid State Pharmacist License and registration
• BS or PharmD degree in Pharmacy
• Certified Immunizer
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check

• Basic keyboarding and technology proficiency
• Required training: HIPAA Privacy & Security, Fraud/Waste/Abuse, MethGuard
