Direct Care Staff - CNA Home Health Aide

The Direct Care Staff provides compassionate in-home support during a single extended daily visit for clients with disabilities and special needs. Working under the clinical oversight of a registered nurse, this role assists with personal care, mobility, safety, daily living activities, and meaningful companionship while maintaining accurate care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support clients with safe mobility and use appropriate mobility techniques.
• Measure and monitor vital signs.
• Prepare meals according to client needs.
• Perform light housekeeping to support a safe home environment.
• Monitor client safety and report observations to the registered nurse.
• Document care provided and relevant client observations accurately.
• Offer companionship and compassionate emotional support.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Empathy and compassion.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Effective time management.
