Structural Welding Foreman

We are hiring a Field Structural Welding Foreman for a well-established structural steel contractor based in Anaheim. This is a temp-to-hire role leading field welding crews on projects across Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside Counties.

What you’ll do

• Lead, schedule, and supervise field welders on structural steel jobs, and set the pace by working alongside them
• Plan work orders, crew assignments, and job sequencing to keep projects on schedule
• Review blueprints, shop drawings, and specs, including weld symbols, and make sure work is built to them
• Gather and stage tools, equipment, and materials for each job
• Oversee structural steel installation, field welding, fabrication, and repairs
• Keep welding machines and equipment in good working order
• Uphold quality and safety standards on every site

What you bring

• 5+ years in structural steel as a welding lead, foreman, or supervisor
• Strong blueprint and drawing reading skills, including weld symbols and technical specs
• Solid working knowledge of welding processes, machines, and equipment maintenance
• Ability to lead a crew and still perform the work yourself
• Willingness to work overtime and travel daily to job sites across OC, LA, and Riverside Counties
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean record is preferred

Nice to have

• AWS and/or LA City structural welding certification
