*Bilingual - 2nd Shift * Quality Control Inspector

The focus of the Quality of the product flowing through the line as well as the quality of all processes related to the line.

Position Description:

• Ensure all product falls within specification.

• Must understand the requirements in each step of the assembly line.

• Monitor all portions of the production line for quality conformance.

• Performs all duties according to established safety, quality, and efficiency procedures; and maintains workstation in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

• Specific tasks are assigned and cross-training to other production lines as required.

• Follow all safety policies, protocols, procedures.

• Communicate with operators as well as management to correct any issues.

• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Attention to Detail

• 2+ years’ experience in quality control preferred.

• Proficiency in using a tape measure in standard and metric units.

• Basic English reading/writing skills required.

• Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Willing to work overtime, longer days, and some weekends as needed.

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. multiple times per day (heavy loads must be team lifted)

• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

• Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to hear and see.

• Willingness to help in other areas.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting to 15 lbs. (heavy loads must be team lifted)

• Standing up to 10 hours per shift.

• Walking as needed during a 10-hour shift.

• Bending and twisting frequently.

• Heavy gripping with hands frequently.

• Frequent lifting from floor to waist.

• Frequent lifting from waist to shoulder.

• Must be able to hear and see.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Area may be hot, cold, humid, noisy, dusty industrial environment, and other substances.

Education Experience/Certifications:

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or work experience

• Years of Experience: 2 years, preferred.
