Welder

Houma, La: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Welder for an industrial manufacturing position. Training will be on day shift before transitioning to nights. Weekly overtime is expected.

Responsibilities:
• Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding as qualified.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, Inconel, and other specialty alloys.
• Read blueprints, weld symbols, WPSs, and work instructions.
• Perform preheat, interpass cleaning, grinding, and required inspections.
• Safely operate welding equipment, overhead cranes, and positioners.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of welding experience required.
• TIG and MIG welding experience required.
• Industrial welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to pass a weld qualification test.
• Specialty alloy, pressure-containing, or API 6A experience preferred.
• Stable work history preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, 5–6 days per week, with overtime.

Schedule:
• Training: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Regular shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekly overtime expected
