Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Mason, OH

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Pharmacy Technician position is available at an on-campus retail pharmacy serving students at a university setting. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations within a busy inpatient hospital environment and requires strong skills in medication dispensing and patient service.

Location:

• Mason, OH (University campus pharmacy)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Contract to Hire opportunity with a start date of November 8 through February 6.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management and medication reconciliation.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and university staff.
• Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy regulations and procedures.
• Support the daily operations of the retail pharmacy to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, especially in inpatient or retail settings.
• PTCB certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication names, dosages, and preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
