Human Resources (HR) Director

Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Human Resources Director to lead people operations and oversee HR practices for a contract position based in Dennis Port, Massachusetts. This role will oversee core human resources programs, support organizational compliance, and partner with leadership to manage the employee experience across the full employment lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in benefits administration, employee relations, and recruiting, along with the ability to keep policies, records, and workplace practices aligned with current regulations.

• Demonstrated experience leading human resources operations in a senior-level HR role, preferably with broad oversight of administration, compliance, and employee relations.

• Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, from job description development through hiring and onboarding.

• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and the ability to apply them in a practical business setting.

• Proven ability to manage sensitive employee records and HR matters with accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.

• Experience handling workers’ compensation cases, unemployment claims, and related documentation or hearings.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with department leaders and employees at all levels.
