Mail Order Pharmacy Technician in Fairfield, OH

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A mail order compounding pharmacy is seeking ten contract-to-hire Fulfillment/Patient Support Pharmacy Technicians to support a growing new contract. This role involves high-volume medication fulfillment with an emphasis on efficiency, teamwork, and adaptability, within a fast-paced digital/mail order environment dispensing primarily generic, some brand, and specialty medications across all 50 states plus DC.

Location: Fairfield, OH
Type: Contract to hire, 13 weeks with potential for direct hire based on experience
Shifts Available:

• First shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with possible Saturday rotation
• Second shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., with possible Saturday rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull, prep, and package medications for nationwide mail order shipment
• Provide patient support by assisting with calls as needed
• Perform non-sterile compounding (preferred but not mandatory)
• Collaborate effectively with the team to manage fluctuating volume and workflow demands

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• High-volume retail pharmacy technician experience is highly valued
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Ohio; national certification is a strong plus
• Ability to quickly adapt to workflow changes and maintain a cooperative team spirit

Compensation:

• Pay commensurate with license and certification level, with defined ranges depending on training and credentials
