Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead complex technology initiatives within a fast-paced media environment in New York, New York. This Long-term Contract position will guide Agile delivery efforts, align cross-functional stakeholders, and keep projects on track from planning through execution. The ideal candidate brings strong IT project management expertise, a structured approach to delivery, and the ability to use Jira and related tools to drive visibility, accountability, and results.

Responsibilities:
• Direct project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of IT-focused initiatives.
• Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies, support sprint planning activities, and help teams maintain momentum against agreed priorities.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define scope, manage expectations, and communicate project status clearly.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities while adjusting plans to maintain delivery commitments.
• Use Atlassian Jira to track progress, manage workflows, and provide accurate reporting on project health.
• Coordinate resources across cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration to remove blockers and improve execution.
• Maintain project governance standards, documentation, and reporting practices throughout the engagement.
• Support process improvements or operational changes related to project delivery when needed as part of assigned initiatives.• Proven experience managing IT projects in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and experience leading teams through iterative delivery.
• PMP Certification or a comparable project management credential.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success driving project outcomes, resolving issues, and keeping teams aligned to objectives.
