This inpatient facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for an adult patient population, with physician support and pending APP support available to assist with clinical operations. On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift basis with call and 24-hour call responsibilities at this on-site facility, with a schedule of 10 days per month. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding, managing consults, and performing procedures, with approximately 50% of the assignment dedicated to procedural work; ERCP experience is preferred. Call coverage is a required component of this locum tenens engagement, structured on a 24-hour call schedule. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
