Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the CAPO - Legal Entity Management team supporting Global Alternatives. This role is responsible for reviewing and interpreting legal entity documentation, supporting entity onboarding and maintenance activities, ensuring data quality, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to meet regulatory and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience handling sensitive information, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end legal entity onboarding and maintenance across firmwide platforms
• Review, analyze, and interpret legal entity documents and supporting records
• Gather, validate, and maintain legal entity and financial data
• Handle sensitive PII and ensure compliance with data retention requirements
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence supporting regulatory controls
• Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, controllers, and regulatory groups
• Conduct data quality reviews and resolve documentation or data discrepancies
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and data governance projects
• Support special projects aligned with legal entity management and reporting objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Legal Studies, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience reviewing legal entity documentation, onboarding entities, or gathering and validating legal entity information
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and extract information from legal entity documents
• Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining data accuracy
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
• Quick learner with a patient, adaptable, and collaborative approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within financial services, banking, asset management, or regulatory environments
• Experience supporting legal entity management, regulatory reporting, or ownership structure reviews
• Exposure to data analysis and automation tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Alteryx, or Power Automate
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies
• Experience operating within highly controlled or regulated environments
