Sr. PLM Engineer (Teamcenter)

Our client, a privately-owned company that develops and manufactures engines, is hiring a Sr. PLM Engineer specializing in Siemens Teamcenter at its world headquarters in Pontiac, MI. This position is 100% on-site. Open to direct hire or contract.

The Role

You will support the maintenance and expansion of the Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management system, providing technical expertise and guidance to all levels of the organization.

What You'll Do

• Work with PLM and Configuration Management teams to maintain the Teamcenter system (workflows, stylesheets, access control, etc.)
• Create deployment packages for monthly builds that customize Teamcenter to business needs
• Suggest improvements to existing business workflows to increase efficiency
• Troubleshoot and fix issues and incidents affecting one or many users, drawing on a solid understanding of Teamcenter architecture
• Mentor and cross-train junior team members
• Keep up with PLM trends and recommend what to bring into the business

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (required)
• 5+ years of Teamcenter Rich Client experience, including installation and configuration; BMIDE, workflows, stylesheets, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Organization and indexer; end-user support and elevated helpdesk tickets
• C/C++ ITK customization; HTML, XML, Windows Batch, PowerShell, Java and Python
• Custom reporting on Teamcenter data
• Teamcenter/NX Managed mode and NX customizations
• Windows and Linux server administration
• Jira and Bitbucket/Git (or similar), working on a team of software engineers
• Ability to work independently and anticipate problems
• U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
