Overview:

Due to expansion, we are seeking creative, licensed occupational therapists for a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic in Rockville, MD. Part-time and PRN clinicians are being considered for this weekend or evening role.

You will split your time between:

Mostly pediatric OT: treating a diverse caseload of pediatric and young adult patients, including developmental, motor, orthopedic, and neurodivergent populations, with some focus on adults and geriatrics

Caseload / Patient Population:

You will work in our state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, serving:

• Children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, developmental/genetic disorders, motor delays, orthopedic needs, learning differences, and more

• Pediatric and adolescent athletes needing gross motor development, return-to-play conditioning, or movement retraining

• Clients ranging from early childhood through young adulthood

• Adults and Seniors through our fitness program for building bone density and for fall prevention

What You Will Do:

• Provide exceptional therapy services

• Lead high-energy motor development and athletic-style training sessions using exergaming, balance systems, and advanced movement platforms

• Create engaging, motivating, play-based treatment sessions tailored to each child's needs

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to build individualized plans of care

• Maintain accurate documentation using Clinic Source EMR

• Support a clinic culture that is fun, loud, energetic, and encouraging for kids and families

Clinic Hours:

The clinic is open seven days per week:

Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is a part-time position working evenings from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and/or weekends from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Estimated part-time compensation: $60-$75 per hour depending on experience, discipline, and qualifications

• Sick leave is available to part-time and PRN employees

Job Requirements:

• Valid Maryland license as an OT

• 1 year of prior outpatient experience is preferred

• Open to OTs of all experience levels, including new grad OTs

• Background working with pediatrics, neurodivergent children, or developmental disorders is a plus

• High-energy, creative, outgoing personality

• Part-time, very flexible hours working evening hours and/or weekends
