Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Attorney Associate to join a sophisticated corporate finance practice in Washington, D.C. or New York. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with experience in borrower-side leveraged finance and fund finance transactions.Location

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in leveraged finance transactions, with an emphasis on borrower-side matters.

• Handle fund finance transactions and related financing arrangements.

• Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements and transaction documents.

• Support due diligence, transaction structuring, and closings.

• Collaborate with attorneys on sophisticated corporate financing matters.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of corporate finance experience.

• Experience in borrower-side leveraged finance and/or fund finance.

• Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Licensed to practice law or eligible for admission in the applicable jurisdiction.

Compensation

$260,000–$435,000 base salary, depending on experience and seniority.
