CDL Delivery Driver - Now Hiring

Position Overview

Better Living, Inc. is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at our building supply location in Troy, VA. If you enjoy a hands-on role where you aren't stuck behind a desk all day and want a stable, local schedule that gets you home every evening, this is the position for you.

What You’ll Do

• Start Your Day in the Yard: Your morning begins right here in our lumber yard, where you will review your daily routes, inspect your materials, and assist with loading your truck.
• Deliver to Local Sites: Head out on multi-stop routes delivering high-quality building and construction supplies to both residential and commercial job sites.
• Work as a Team: You won’t be alone on the road. You’ll be paired with a dedicated Driver Helper to teamwork deliveries.
• Unload with Precision: Together with your helper, you will safely unload ordered materials using a Moffett forklift, ensuring every job site is left clean and safe.

• No Over-the-Road (OTR) Stress: This is a strictly local route schedule.
• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, keeping your weekends free.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL License: Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License for at least 2 years.
• Clean Driving Record: A strong safety record and commitment to DOT regulations.
• Experience & Teamwork: Ability to handle physical, hands-on delivery work, collaborate effectively with your Driver Helper, and operate or learn material handling equipment (such as a Moffett forklift).
