Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to operate CNC Mills and machines, including Haas and Mazaks, to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines efficiently.
• Operate CNC machines with a focus on eventually learning to perform setups.
• Maintain part quality by verifying parts against prints using micrometers and calipers.
• Change tooling, fixtures, or jigs as necessary to ensure smooth operation.
• Record data accurately in the ERP system.
• Document issues in SharePoint to facilitate the corrective action workflow.
• Perform light preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal operation.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
