Commercial Account Manager – Design-Build Post Frame Construction

Compensation: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00+ per year (Base + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus)

FBi Buildings is looking for a business development leader with experience in the local commercial construction market to guide our project acquisition effort in the South Bend / Elkhart / Mishawaka

Previous sales experience is not required. We’re looking for someone that knows how to build, is well connected in the commercial construction market, builds high trust relationships, and generates unique building solutions.

Your background might be in general contracting, carpentry, steel buildings, post frame buildings, or building supplies. Field leadership, project management, estimating, material supply roles are all relevant backgrounds. You may not think of yourself as a salesperson, but many of our best salespeople were builders first. What matters most is your knowledge of construction, industry relationships, and ability to represent FBi with credibility and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Industry Relationship Development

• Develop and strengthen relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, and agricultural and industrial owners.

• Stay connected to project pipelines within your territory to develop and close new project contracts.

• Represent FBi at industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities.

• Identify opportunities where post-frame design-build is a competitive advantage.

• Collaborate with internal teams to pursue projects before they reach open bid.
