Medical Office Assistant for Pediatrician

Provide comprehensive pediatric nursing care across well-child visits, acute sick visits, chronic-condition management, and the full pediatric primary care mix. This role includes immunizations, blood drawing, phone triage, patient education, and care coordination, and reports to the pediatrician and clinic administrator.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric patient care across well-child, acute sick, and chronic-condition visits.
• Administer immunizations and perform blood drawing.
• Conduct phone triage for pediatric patients and families.
• Measure and monitor vital signs.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care with the pediatrician, clinic administrator, and care team.
• Follow infection-control procedures and maintain effective family communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in pediatric nursing.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Knowledge of pediatric nursing and immunization administration.
• Experience with telephone triage and vital signs monitoring.
• Skills in patient education and family communication.
