Press Brake Set-Up Operator -1660

A leading exhaust fan manufacturing company based in Woodbridge area is immediately looking for a Full-Time Brake Press Set-up Operator to work in their sheet metal fabrication plant to start immediately.

Pay rate: $22 - $24/hr. based on experience.

Available Shifts:

Monday -Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Performs daily machine check and Startup of machine or Equipment
• Retrieves or receives raw materials for daily production from stock.
• Set up proper dies in machine as required.
• Programs computer attachment for required machine production.
• Follow Press Brake process standard operating procedure
• Bend aluminum sheet to create custom panels from drawings
• Use inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan
• Make small, mathematically calculated, angle corrections and orienting the part correctly
• Reading the print fully to understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness, and special instructions
• Directs finished work -in- progress product to Shipping Area or to stock in warehouse

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience
• Experience with Amada or Trumpf machine
• Wearing proper protective equipment, as directed by equipment or process;
• Understand safety requirements in every area, and comply
• Ability to read measuring tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic understanding of geometry concepts and able to calculate negative and positive adjustments
