New Day Health Systems in Catonsville, MD is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling and therapeutic interventions
- Coordinate care and connect clients with community resources, support services, and referrals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and behavioral health professionals
- Advocate for client rights and support clients through crisis intervention when needed
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- Active Maryland Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW-C) license required
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or a related clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, case management, and community resources
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compassionate, client-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
