Pediatric RN

Elmwood Pediatric Group, LLP is a well-established, independently owned pediatric practice serving families throughout the Rochester area. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated RN or LPN to join our exceptional team. Position Details

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

• Passionate about providing exceptional care to children and their families
• Inventory Management, VFC Training ideal but not necessary

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN or LPN license in good standing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric or outpatient experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

Clinical Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain vital signs and collect specimens as needed
• Perform laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Prepare and administer immunizations and medications
• Process prescription refill requests
• Provide telephone triage (RN role) and patient education
• Participate in care management activities
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the clinical support team
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within the EMR
• Assist with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed
