The hospital maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing 24-hour call-based cardiovascular coverage, with APP support in place to facilitate effective care delivery. Clinical resources are available throughout each assigned coverage period.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a pedestrian-friendly downtown district featuring more than 100 shops and 25 restaurants. Outdoor recreation options are available throughout the surrounding region, including hiking trails, zip-lining, gem mining, tubing, and jeep tours along scenic parkway routes. Family-friendly attractions such as an aquarium and a pinball museum, along with nearby state forests and local breweries, provide a range of leisure options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a 24-hour call basis, structured as one week per month on a 7-day rotation, with no clinic responsibilities. Clinical duties include on-site rounding, inpatient consults, and procedures, with a patient volume of 5-15 patients per day anticipated throughout the coverage period. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is required for this assignment. APP support is available to assist with clinical operations.
