• Casual/PRN every other weekend only on Evenings (3p-11p) or Overnights (11p-3p)

Decatur Manor is a 24 hour residential facility for the mentally ill.

Our residents are ambulatory and have lower acuity than patients in a nursing home. They do have mental illness and some have a co-diagnosis of substance abuse. This is truly a job with a cause and you'll get great satisfaction of seeing your patients recover and return to the community at large.

Responsibilities of the Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Responsible for the coordination and delivery of patient care and the application of the nursing process
• Accountable for clinical oversight and positive clinical outcomes
• Supervise and lead CNAs and ensure the shift is fully staffed

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed in the State of Illinois
• Psychiatric nursing experience a BIG plus
• CPR Certification
• Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders
