Location: Midland, TX – Tenaris Facility

Job Title: Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment, Forklift & Gen Set Specialist
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager
Qualifications
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting – Ability to quickly identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Hydraulic Systems Expertise – Understanding of hydraulic schematics, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
- Diesel Engine Repair & Maintenance – Proficiency with large diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions technology.
- Electrical & Electronic Systems – Skilled in reading wiring diagrams, repairing harnesses, sensors, alternators, and controllers (CAN bus systems).
- Powertrain Systems – Knowledge of transmissions, drivetrains, axles, and torque converters.
- Preventative Maintenance – Scheduling and executing PMs to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Tool Operation – Safe and efficient use of specialty tools for large machinery.

- Work with diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical systems
- Troubleshoot forklifts, trucks, wheel loaders
- Read electrical/hydraulic schematics
- Use computer maintenance programs to log service and parts
- Interpret equipment service manuals as needed
