Lakeside Health & Rehab is seeking a creative and compassionate Activity Director to join our growing team!

As the Activity Director, you will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of engaging programs that support the physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being of residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordinating daily and monthly activity programs for residents

• Developing individualized activity care plans and participating in resident assessments

• Encouraging resident participation in activities, hobbies, crafts, games, and social events

• Organizing special events, parties, outings, and community activities

• Supervising and supporting activity staff and volunteers

• Coordinating with nursing, therapy, and leadership teams to support resident-centered care

• Maintaining activity documentation and progress notes

• Managing activity calendars, supplies, and department organization

• Assisting residents with one-on-one activities, visits, errands, and engagement opportunities as needed

• Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations related to activities programming

• Two years of activity or related experience preferred, especially in long-term care

• Creative, organized, and motivated team player

• Passionate about working with seniors and enhancing resident quality of life

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
