RN – Invasive Cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab / EP)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures
• Assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Monitor and manage sedation of patients throughout procedures
• Operate and manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices including IABP and IMPELLA
• Perform ventilator management as required
• Apply preoperative and postoperative care skills in a fast-paced cardiac environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio
• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association only
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Demonstrated preoperative and postoperative nursing skills
• Experience with patient monitoring and sedation management
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring (IABP and IMPELLA)
• Ventilator management experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience with XPER and Change Health Care platforms
• Prior experience in a high-acuity interventional or endovascular setting
