Plant General Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise daily plant activities
• Manage plant P&L, budgets, cost controls, and operational performance
• Lead production, design/engineering, procurement, inventory, logistics, maintenance, and quality
• Drive production efficiencies, material yield, labor efficiency, and waste reduction
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, OSHA, and quality requirements
• Maintain strong quality control processes and certification requirements
• Train, manage, and provide feedback to employees
• Prepare daily efficiency, production, and operational reports
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance
• Manage raw material procurement and inventory
• Ensure production schedules, staffing, and delivery requirements are met
• Evaluate capital expenditures and equipment investments for ROI
• Lead the expansion of manufacturing capabilities into additional building component products

Plant General Manager Qualifications Include:

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience in building components or related manufacturing preferred
• 5+ years of experience supervising manufacturing teams
• Proven P&L, budgeting, cost control, and operational management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems
• Experience in building products or component manufacturing
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and production systems
• Experience with industry quality and certification programs
• Experience with material procurement and yield optimization
• CAPEX and ROI experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations, Construction Management, or related field
