The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide support, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll play a vital role in helping people gain confidence, achieve greater independence, and thrive in their everyday lives.

Base Pay: $17.00/hr
Get Paid to Sleep: $13.00/hr – 3rd shift

Location: Toledo Area and Bowling Green, OH
Earn Up to $18.50/hr - Bowling Green locations

Schedules Available: Full-Time & Part-Time (Every Other Weekend Required)

• Adult Day Array - 4 weekdays 8 AM - 4 PM and every other weekend 2nd shift OR 3rd shift Residential.
• Residential - 4 weekdays 4 PM - 12 AM and every other weekend 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives:

• Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks
• Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
• Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities
• Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
• Transport individuals safely to appointments and social outings
• Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals
• Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress
• Administering medications as trained
• Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients
• Participate in required paid training and team meetings

Qualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points)
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings
