Juvenile Day Treatment Monitor

The St. Joseph County Juvenile Day Treatment Program (JDT) is an opportunity for youth on Juvenile Probation to remain in the community and with their families. While at JDT, youth participate in educational services to maintain or recover school credits. Youth also participate in individual and group therapy, learn coping skills, and life skills at JDT. JDT is a structured, non-lockdown program that provides support, accountability and monitoring to assist in youth’s success on Juvenile Probation.

Under the supervision of the Juvenile Day Treatment Supervisor, assists in the oversight, instruction and behavior management of assigned children. Provides guidance, direction, personal interaction in lessons and activities and general guidance and advocacy. Uses interpersonal skills to assist in instruction, security and related instructional matters.

Hours: Up to 29 hours per week with flexible scheduling provided.
