DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON)

Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services

• Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance

• Supervise, develop, and support nursing leadership and staff

• Monitor staffing, clinical outcomes, documentation, and care standards

• Participate in QAPI, surveys, audits, and performance improvement initiatives

• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team

• Promote staff accountability, retention, and a positive workplace culture

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active RN license

• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting

• Strong knowledge of CMS and state regulatory requirements

• Proven leadership and team-building skills

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

• DON or ADON experience strongly preferred
