Position Overview

Daroq Inc., a Jani-King franchisee, is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers for Saturday assignments at a property in Daytona Beach.

Ideal candidates take pride in preparing clean, welcoming guest rooms, work efficiently, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Consistent Saturday availability is required.

Employees may also have opportunities to cross-train in our janitorial and custodial operations for additional assignments, based on availability, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas according to property standards.

• Strip beds, collect dirty linens, and make beds with fresh linens.

• Retrieve clean linens, towels, and cleaning supplies from designated areas.

• Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas.

• Clean showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.

• Vacuum and mop floors.

• Empty trash and replace liners.

• Restock towels, toiletries, and required room supplies.

• Keep housekeeping carts stocked, clean, and organized.

• Promptly report maintenance issues, damage, missing items, and supply needs.

• Complete assigned rooms within required turnover timelines while maintaining cleaning standards.

• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures and properly use chemicals and equipment.

• Use the company’s mobile app to clock in and out, review assignments, and mark tasks complete.

• Return equipment and supplies to designated areas and remove trash and dirty linens from carts before leaving.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Consistent Saturday availability, punctuality, and reliable attendance.

• Previous hotel, resort, or vacation-rental housekeeping experience preferred; training provided.

• Reliable transportation to the assigned property.

• Smartphone capable of using the company’s required scheduling, timekeeping, and task-management app.

• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

• Professional appearance and respectful conduct with guests, coworkers, and property staff.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Background Screening Required

Employment and all work assignments are contingent upon successful completion of the required background check. Applicants must complete and pass the screening before beginning work.

Payroll for This Property

Payroll for Saturday housekeeping shifts at this property is processed on Mondays. The date funds become available depends on your financial institution. This payroll schedule applies only to this property. Assignments at other locations follow their applicable payroll schedules.
