Electrical CAD Drafter - Now Hiring

We are seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Drafter/Operator to join our team for ongoing new construction commercial projects across all five boroughs. The ideal candidate will attend coordination meetings, collaborate closely with project managers, and produce precise drafting drawings. This role involves drafting based on shop drawings and as-built drawings, as well as reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and codes.

• Attend and actively participate in coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in drafting.
• Draft detailed drawings based on shop and as-built drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and codes to ensure compliance and precision.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting purposes.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D drafting.
• Experience in Revit.
• Thorough understanding of electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical CAD Drafter/Operator on new construction commercial and residential projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong technical ability in drafting.
• Ability to work independently with confidence.

The office is located in Brooklyn, NY. All projects begin at 7:00 am. The role requires a high level of technical drafting ability, speed in task completion, and confidence in independent work. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $41.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
